Through several years of experience performing non-diagnostic ultrasounds for our beloved moms-to-be, since 2016 with current management, we have learned that many of our customers, as well as their mothers, grandmothers and female relatives, had very limited access to diagnostic ultrasounds due to having to wait for insurance or doctor's referrals and trying to get appointments at a doctor's office would many times excessively prolong necessary exams. With your needs in mind, Baby Bump Studios is now proud to introduce Women's Health Imaging at our Moreno Valley office! Our aim, as is with our gender reveal and 3D packages, is to keep costs low as we are aware that those without insurance or with high insurance deductibles are in need of more affordable options. Trans-Abdominal Ultrasound Performed Starting At 20 Weeks
Must drink 32 oz of water 1 hour prior to appointment.
The Fetal Anatomy scan obtains images of several different parts of the developing fetus, including the brain, heart, stomach, kidneys, skull, and genitals.
Radiologist report received within 24-48 hours.

Trans-Abdominal Ultrasound Performed After 14 Weeks And Above
Must drink 32 oz of water 1 hour prior to appointment.
The Fetal Measurements scan will measure baby's head, abdomen and femur, which is used to get an estimate of baby's weight and size.
Amniotic Fluid Volume

The Amniotic Fluid Volume scan is an assessment that verifies if there is enough or too much amniotic fluid, which surrounds baby in the womb, cushions baby, and helps baby's lungs, digestive system, and muscles develop in the womb.

Must drink 32 oz of water 1 hour prior to appointment.
The Fetal Position scan determines whether baby is in the head-down position, ideal for labor/delivery.
Placenta Location

Trans-Abdominal Ultrasound Performed Toward Final Stages Of Pregnancy
Must drink 32 oz of water 1 hour prior to appointment.
The Placenta Location scan determines whether the lower edge of the placenta extends too low, called "placenta previa". This is a problem during pregnancy causing the placenta to completely or partially cover the opening of the uterus and can be dangerous.

Ultrasound Performed On Thyroid Gland Within The Neck
The Thyroid scan is commonly used to evaluate lumps and diagnose tumors, cysts or goiters of the thyroid. It can also determine if a lump in the neck is arising from the thyroid or an adjacent structure. to analyze the appearance of thyroid nodules and determine if they are the more common benign nodule or if the nodule has features that require a biopsy.

Ultrasound Performed On The Upper Abdomen
Must not eat or drink anything for 8 hours prior to the appointment.
The Abdomen scan obtains images of the structures within the upper abdomen. It is used to help diagnose pain or distention (enlargement) and evaluate the kidneys, liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, pancreas, spleen and abdominal aorta.
